"I was first introduced to Salsa in 2006 by my sister, Bryn, a very avid and gifted dancer, but did not begin training until I was introduced to Ballroom Dance a few years later. I began to study and became passionately involved with the Ballroom Dance program at Penn State University in the fall of 2008.

Today, in conjunction with classical ballroom styles, I have come to know and love many social styles of dance including Argentine Tango, West Coast Swing, Cha-Cha-Cha, Bachata and, last but not least, Salsa.

While I am relatively new to Salsa, my 10 year background of intense training with All-Star Competitive Cheerleading has also conditioned me with the athleticism, dance, and performance skills that were integral for me to learn and love dancing Salsa.

Believing I got a bit of a late start in dance training, I am dedicated to the study and training in Salsa and many other styles of social and ballroom dance. Many of the happiest moments in my life have been attributed to performance and dance, and has since motivated me to share that with others and to work towards learning more myself. The power of dance to inspire and bring people together is very unique, and I’m happy be a part of it at Estilo!"
